As sure as the sun comes up everyday, everyone has to go to school. Be it home school, private or public school, you are gonna have to go to school, that’s a given. Once you graduate high school, you either work or go to college. If you have enough to live on then cool, but not everyone does. The whole purpose of going to college is so you can gain the necessary skills to function at the occupation you choose to apply your skills to. Which means work. Yes, my young scholar one day you will have to apply the knowledge and work which, again, is the whole point of going to college. It is a human thing to work. The sooner you get use to it, the better for you. If you do work in college, remember your classes are most important.

In short you have 4 years and one redshirt year of eligibility to play in the NCAA. (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Which means for that 5 years you should stay focused on school and your craft.
You will have plenty of time later to do whatever you find fancy but for that 5 years you should abstain from anything detrimental to your athletic and academic life. You have plenty of time later to be social or whatever. Keep illegal activities out of your agenda and off of your everyday path as best you can.
